Have Some Fun in the Water & Sun!

Beyond fishing, the options are endless for enjoying the water that makes Cape Coral such a fun place to visit. One of the most popular options when visiting southwest Florida is a day at the beach. If you're looking to put your toes in the sand, take a short boat ride to Sanibel, Captiva, or Fort Myers. You can also load up the car and get there that way and enjoy a day of soaking up the sun and making sandcastles from the sugar white sand.

Boat and kayak rentals are also available throughout town if you want to avoid the sand and prefer to be on the water. Explore the marshes and waterways of the area and jump in every once in a while to cool off. If you want to turn up the adrenaline, try renting a jet ski for a half or full day of fun!

A great local option for families is the Sunsplash Water Park which is only 10 minutes away from Cape Harbour. Make some fun memories sliding down the waterslides and floating down the lazy river.
